Spicerhaart, of which Chewton Rose is part, is proud to announce that it has been honoured with the Armed Forces Covenant Gold Award. This prestigious accolade recognises employers who demonstrate exceptional commitment to supporting military personnel and their families.
The Armed Forces Covenant commends employers who go above and beyond in supporting the Armed Forces community. Receiving the Gold Award reflects Spicerhaart's dedication to service members, veterans, and their families.
A valued member of our team since 2018, David Skingley, pictured above, brings extensive expertise from his 26 years of military service and 13 years in commercial and government roles. Formerly a Warrant Officer in the Royal Corps of Signals, David now manages our IT Infrastructure, ensuring the smooth operation of data centre servers, networking, and IT security.
Emma Barber, Head of Training and Development and Armed Forces Champion, whose husband served for 22 years, expressed her pride in this milestone:
“We have the utmost respect for the dedication of service personnel. Signing the Armed Forces Covenant was our pledge to ensure fair treatment. Receiving the Gold Award is a personal and professional achievement I’m deeply proud of.”
Our CEO, Antony Lark, shared his pride in this milestone:
“We are thrilled to be awarded the Gold Award, as it underlines our commitment to the Armed Forces community. This recognition is a reflection of our persistent efforts to help military personnel transition smoothly into successful civilian careers.”
At Spicerhaart, we have always appreciated the exceptional skills and strengths veterans and reservists offer to the civilian workplace. This award aligns us with a prestigious group of employers recognised for their top-level support of the Armed Forces.
We remain dedicated to ensuring a supportive workplace for all employees, particularly those with military backgrounds, and look forward to continuing our long-term support for the Armed Forces community.
